It was a bright sunny morning, such a rare sight in Moscow, April 11th, when the event from Salesforce, global leader in cloud CRM system, kicked off in the Marriott Royal Aurora Hotel. Its hashtag was #captureleads. Success stories on capturing leads using Salesforce CRM were offered by members of Philip Morris International, QleanLabs, the vendor itself and GBC Team, Certified Gold Salesforce Consulting Partner.

Why is it so important to have the right tool for your customer interactions? What are the adverse implications of a miscalculated omni-channel strategy? And, finally, can you be sure you know your customer 100%?! – These are just a few of the questions, which our speakers touched upon in an original, if not bodacious, manner. Artem Ishonin, the guru of Customer Service from QleanLabs, referred to his company’s experience to demonstrate that a great box solution is better than wasting effort into a proprietary system, and also made other examples of real business cases in Russia. Nikita Efremov from Philip Morris International said, that Salesforce attracted his company with its “out-of-the-box” solution and an array of flexible tools, which for a rather long time were enough for their needs. His advice: “If you have doubts, just have a deeper look into Salesforce CRM and weigh it all up. Salesforce is a very flexible system, and that includes different license pricing options.”

Salesforce representatives offered a demonstration of the platform’s capabilities on a real-industry example: engagement, development, customer services. One of the highlights of the day was a quiz about the CRM system, with great prizes for winners. During coffee breaks, the consultants from GBC Team used a special demo-stand to help the guests look into different cases, because personal experience is worth a thousand words.
